Some couples drive past a hundred venues to get to ours, and Bennett and Taygen did just that. They came from out of state, brought the people they love most, and turned a summer weekend in Dardanelle into the kind of wedding you do not forget.
When a couple travels this far to marry at a little white chapel at the foot of Mt. Nebo, we do not take it lightly. It means the day has to feel like more than a ceremony. It has to feel like a homecoming, even for people who have never set foot in Arkansas before.

Blush, butter yellow and soft blue, Taygen's palette, everywhere you looked.
Taygen wanted soft. Blush roses, butter yellow ranunculus, powder blue delphinium, all loose and gathered the way summer flowers actually grow. Crystal designed every piece by hand, from the bouquet to the cake florals to the arrangements framing the chapel doors.
Because everything is designed in-house here, the flowers were not something that showed up finished in a box. They were built for Taygen, in Taygen's colors, the way a wedding should be.
The bride's favorite part of the whole day was not the cake. It was the Loblolly ice cream, delivered fresh and served in little scalloped bowls outside, right alongside it.
Here is the thing about a destination couple. They want their guests to taste the place, not just see it. So Bennett and Taygen brought in Loblolly Creamery, a beloved Arkansas ice cream maker, and served it outside in the evening alongside the cake.
Guests wandered out with a bowl in hand as the light went gold and then purple. It was simple, it was local, and it was the single most talked-about moment of the night. That is what happens when you let a wedding feel like where it actually is.
Loblolly ice cream, served outside with the cake. The bride's highlight of the whole day.
When the sun got low, we walked out into the field. This is the part of the property that surprises people. One minute you are in a crisp white chapel, the next you are standing in twenty acres of open Arkansas with the light pouring sideways through the trees.
Bennett swept Taygen up, her dress caught the wind, and for a second there was nobody else on the hill.

From the field at golden hour to string lights after dark.
Bennett and Taygen could have married anywhere. They chose a small chapel in Dardanelle because an intimate wedding is not a smaller version of a big one. It is a better version. Everyone in the room is someone you love. Nobody is there out of obligation. You actually get to be present for it.
If you are planning a wedding from out of state, or you simply want a day that feels like Arkansas at its most beautiful, we would love to host you. Come see the chapel, walk the grounds, and picture your own golden hour in that field.
